The Bolter Series exists to put Dean Gordon guitars into more hands. Every Bolter is designed by Dean Gordon and built in our Miami workshop alongside our Virtus and Mirus custom shop instruments. The difference is not care or quality. The difference is structure.

What is the Bolter Series?

These are not factory instruments and they are not outsourced. They are built in house by a small luthier team under the direct oversight of Dean Gordon and personally inspected before earning the DG logo on the headstock. Each Bolter Series release is produced in tightly controlled workshop runs of five to ten instruments, allowing us to maintain consistency, quality, and hands-on oversight at every stage. Where our custom shop focuses on one-of-one builds and unlimited options, the Bolter Series focuses on efficiency, consistency, and access without compromising the feel, ergonomics, and playability that defines every Dean Gordon guitar.

Ergonomic design inspired by our flagship models

Bolter Series guitars are simplified versions of our custom shop Virtus and Mirus designs. They feature our semi carve profiles, ergonomic body contours, and balanced neck geometry for comfort during long playing sessions.

The shapes are tuned to retain the feel and responsiveness that defines our custom shop guitars while allowing more efficient and repeatable workshop production. The result is an instrument that feels unmistakably Dean Gordon.

Built in house and signed off by Dean Gordon

Every Bolter Series guitar is built in our Miami workshop by Dean Gordon and a dedicated in-house luthier team. Sanding, fretwork, assembly, and setup are handled by experienced hands using the same standards applied to our flagship instruments.

Before any Bolter leaves the shop, it is personally inspected and approved by Dean Gordon. Only then does it receive the DG logo on the headstock.

That mark is not a decoration. It is a certification.

First come first serve releases

Bolter Series guitars are not made to order. There are no deposits and no preorders. Each run is built in advance and released when the instruments are finished, with availability announced through our email list. When a run goes live, guitars are offered first come first serve until they are gone. When they are gone, they are gone until we decide to release another run.

No two runs will be the same.
