Return Policy
We offer a 3 day return window. You have 3 calendar days from confirmed delivery to submit a return request.
Requests made after the 3 day window will be considered on a case by case basis at the sole discretion of Dean Gordon Guitars LLC.
All sale items, discounted items, custom orders, special orders, personalized builds, and gift cards are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund.
Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, the instrument must be in 100 percent mint condition and in the exact same condition it was shipped in. This includes:
• No play wear, pick marks, impressions, scratches, dents, finish changes, major hardware adjustments, or modifications
• No fret wear or string wear beyond what was present at shipment
• No major setup alterations, part swaps, or disassembly
• Original packaging, case, tags, accessories, paperwork, and certificates included
• Properly repacked to ensure safe transit
We reserve the right to deny a return if the instrument is not returned in mint, original condition.
The customer assumes responsibility for safe return shipping. We strongly recommend full insurance coverage and signature confirmation. Dean Gordon Guitars LLC is not responsible for loss or damage during return transit.
Restocking Fees
For non major manufacturing defect related returns submitted within the 3 day window:
• 10 percent restocking fee on all items
In addition, original payment processing fees are non refundable and will be deducted from the refund. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
Major Manufacturing Defects
If an instrument has a legitimate major manufacturing defect, please contact us immediately.
If the claim is verified, Dean Gordon Guitars LLC will cover reasonable return shipping costs and may offer repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.
Claims for major manufacturing defects must be submitted within 14 days of delivery. We reserve the right to deny defect claims submitted after 14 days.
Normal characteristics such as wood grain variation, finish character, minor setup preference differences, tonal preference, neck shape preference, cosmetic variation, or damage resulting from humidity, environment, improper care, or modification are not considered manufacturing defects.
Return Authorization
To initiate a return, contact us through our website contact form with your order number and reason for return.
Do not ship any item back without written return authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted and any associated costs will be the responsibility of the sender.
Damages and Shipping Issues
Please inspect your instrument immediately upon delivery.
If the item arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, notify us within 24 hours of delivery and retain all original packaging for carrier inspection if necessary.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you regarding approval status.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method minus applicable restocking and processing fees. Please allow time for your financial institution to post the refund.
